一、培养目标

I Objectives

本专业培养从事适应社会经济、文化、艺术发展的，具有创新精神并掌握系统艺术理论研究方法的专门人才。

1、学生须努力学习与掌握马列主义、毛泽东思想和中国特色社会主义基本理论，树立科学的世界观，坚持党的基本路线，热爱祖国、遵纪守法，品行端正；诚实守信，学风严谨，团结协作，具有良好的科研道德和敬业精神。

2、学生须掌握本门学科坚实的基础理论和系统的专门知识，了解艺术发展历史和规律，理解艺术学的基本原理，熟悉艺术学理论国际前沿与动态；掌握一门外国语，能熟练地进行专业阅读和写作，具有独立从事科学研究和艺术理论工作的能力，能做出有价值的成果，可胜任本学科领域较高层次的教学、科研与管理工作。

3、学生须积极参加体育锻炼与社会活动，保持健康的体魄与良好的心理素质。

This specialty brings up the senior specialized professionals with social economy, culture, the development of art, the spirit of innovation and the ability to master the research methods of art theory.

1.Students are required to learn and master the Marxism Leninism and Mao Zedong thought and theory of socialism with Chinese characteristics, established a scientific world outlook, adhere to the basic line of the party, love the motherland, abide by the law, conduct regular; honest and trustworthy, rigorous academic discipline, unity and cooperation, they should has a good scientific research ethics and professionalism.

2.Students are required to master the basic theory and knowledge of the subjects with independent scientific research and the ability to work in art theory, they should understand the history and law of the development of art, and the basic principles of art, be familiar with the international frontier and dynamic of art theory; in addition，they should master a foreign language, and be able to skillfully conduct professional reading and writing. They can make valuable achievements, qualified teaching, scientific research and management work in the field of higher level.

3.Students are required to take an active part in physical exercise and social activities, maintaining a healthy physique and good psychological quality.

三、学制、学习年限及学分要求

III Educational System and Years of Study

全日制学术型硕士研究生学制为3年，学习年限一般为3年，最长不超过5年。

总学分≥29学分（含必修环节5学分）。

1.公共学位课：7学分

2. 专业必修课：≥10学分，专业学位课中必须开设一门实验课程或研究方法类课程。

3.专业选修课：≥7学分，专业选修课应设置一门专业外语作为必选课，1学分；至少一门跨学科选修课作为必选课，1学分。

4.必修环节：5学分，实践环节3学分；学术活动1学分；选题报告及中期考核       1学分

The full time of master's degree are 3 years , the longest learning period is not more than 5 years.

Total credits≥29 credits  (5 credits for compulsory practice course)

1.Public courses:7 credits

2.Professional degree courses: ≥10 credits. In the course of professional degree, we must set up an experiment or research method course .

3.Professional elective course ≥7 credits. Professional elective courses should be set up a

specialized foreign language as a required course.

五、实践环节

V Compulsory Courses 

1.实践环节（由导师根据学生完成情况给予3学分）

学生完成专业实践、社会实践、创新创业活动、竞赛、高水平论文、获奖成果、获得专利之一记1学分，在职研究生可免修该环节，但不记学分，所缺学分必须通过选修课程补齐；模拟完成一篇省（市）级及以上自然(社会)科学基金等纵向项目的申请书及20分钟汇报PPT，经指导教师检查、评阅合格者记2学分。

2、学术活动（由导师根据学生完成情况给予1学分）

参加国内外学术活动，提交学术论文或写出学术交流心得，不少于5次，学术交流心得每次不少于500字。

1.Compulsory practice course(3 credits)

If the students complete professional practice, social practice, innovation and entrepreneurship activities, competition, high level papers, winning results, one of the patents,he can get 1 credit.On-the-job postgraduate student can be allowed to drop this course with no credits, they must chose elective courses to fill what they lack.Student should complete a application of natural (SOCIAL) Science Foundation project application in province (city) level or above with 20 minutes report PPT accordingly, the guidance teachers will check it and give 2 credits to eligible.

2.Academic Activities(1 credits)

The student should participate in foreign and domestic academic activities not less than 5 times, submit academic papers or write experience of academic exchange not less than 500 words.

3、选题报告及中期考核（1学分）

学术学位硕士研究生开题前需修满学位课程的学分，允许研究生开题后根据论文研究需要选修部分其他课程，申请答辩前修完全部课程即可。

硕士研究生入学后，应在导师的指导下明确科学研究方向，查阅国内外相关文献40篇以上，其中外文文献不少于三分之一，进行广泛的调查研究，提出学位论文选题报告，内容包括毕业设计/创作工作计划与选题报告，考核成绩含书面报告和口头报告两部分。经审核后确定学位论文题目。选题报告通过后记1个必修环节学分。

硕士研究生的选题报告和中期考核的具体要求按照研究生手册相关规定执行。

    3.Topic-selecting report and mid-term examination (1 credits)

Academic-Degree graduate student before dissertation topic-selecting, need completed degree-course credits, allowing students to select other parts of elective course according to the research needs of the dissertation, completing all courses before application for dissertation defense.

 Graduate student after admission, should be under the guidance of supervisor to make clear the direction of research and review of the related domestic and foreign literature more than 40 articles, which foreign literature not less than one-third, conduct widespread investigation and study, proposed dissertation topic-selecting report, including graduation design / creative work plan and research report, the result of examination with written reports and oral presentations. After examination to determine the degree dissertation topics. After the selection of the report, count as 1 compulsory link credits.

Grauate student dissertation topic-selecting report and the mid-term examination implementation in accordance with the relevant provisions of the Graduate Handbook.

 

六、科研与论文

VI Scientific Research and Dissertation

1、科研实践（由导师根据学生完成情况给予1学分）

1）在导师指导下完成导师制定的研究课题；

2）在导师指导下完成专业实习与艺术实践。

2、学术活动（由导师根据学生完成情况在必修环节给予1学分）

参加国内外学术活动，提交学术论文或写出学术交流心得，不少于5次，学术交流心得每次不少于500字。

3、完成硕士论文：独立完成不少于3万字的硕士论文。

4.开题后8个月，可进行答辩。

5. 在硕士学位论文送审前，需在C类（艺术与设计学院期刊目录）及以上学术期刊上发表与学位论文研究内容相关的高水平学术论文2篇见刊（论文作者署名要求为研究生本人署名第一，或者导师署名第一、本人署名第二；论文的第一署名单位必须是武汉理工大学）或授权发明或实用新型专利1项（专利发明人是指研究生本人署名第一，或者导师署名第一，本人署名第二，专利权人必须是武汉理工大学）。

6.鼓励学生创作优秀的作品参与有届次的高级别展览参展或获奖。研究生学位论文的工作成果获得省部级三等及以上科研成果奖1项（国家级奖前5名、省部级一等奖前3名、省部级二等奖前2名、省部级三等奖第1名，署名武汉理工大学），可视为在被EI收录的国际学术期刊上发表1篇学术论文并被收录；凡被《新华文摘》全文转载的学术期刊论文（3000字以上），均视为A类期刊学术论文；凡被A&HCI、CPCI收录的学术期刊论文，或被中国人民大学报刊复印资料全文转载的学术期刊论文（3000字以上），均视为B类期刊学术论文。

1.Scientific Research Practice(1 credits)

2.Academic Activities(1 credits)

The student should participate in foreign and domestic academic activities not less than 5 times, submit academic papers or write experience of academic exchange not less than 500 words.

3.Complete the master's thesis independently: not less than 30000 words.

4.Students can apply for the thesis defense after propose a thesis for 8 months.

5.Before submitted master's thesis, the student should publish 2 high level academic papers(Journal of art and Design Institute)(You should be the first author,or the tutor are the first author, you are the second one.The first unit of the paper must be Wuhan University of Technology)Or access to an authorized invention patent, or get utility model patents for one (The inventor must be yourself ,or both you and your tutor, the patent holder must be Wuhan University of Technology) .

6.The college encouraged the graduate student participate in the high-level exhibition.The achievements of the research on the thesis of the graduate students won the third award or above on the provincial and ministerial level(The National Prize in the top 5 are considered, provincial first prize signed the first 3, provincial second prize signed the first 2, provincial third prize signed the first 1, The first unit of the paper must be Wuhan University of Technology), it can be considered as the international academic journals indexed by EI.If the full text of Xinhua digest reproduced your academic journal papers (3000 words or more), it can be considered to publish a A type academic journal.If your article reproduced by A&HCI, CPCI, or the Renmin University of China press, it can be considered to publish a B type academic journal.

七、培养方式与方法

VII Cultivation Mode and Method

硕士研究生的培养采取导师负责制或以导师为主的指导小组的指导方法，培养方式应灵活多样，更多地采取启发式、研讨式的教学方式，具体方式有：

1、全脱产，课程学习主要在校内完成，论文答辩须在校内完成。

2、实行导师负责制或导师指导与集体培养相结合的方式。

3、以课程学习为主，采取面授、自学、讨论相结合的培养方式。使学生掌握专业基础理论和专业知识。

4、制定个人培养计划

入学2周内，在导师指导下完成个人培养计划。内容包括：课程选修计划，课题研究方向与时间安排，文献阅读计划等。

5、课程学习

研究生在课程学习阶段至少每月1次、论文工作阶段至少每月2次向指导教师汇报自己的学习和研究工作情况。

6、文献阅读

在导师指导下，研究生阅读专业图书文献应不少于40本，其中外文文献不少于三分之一，并写出读书笔记。

7、中期考核与开题报告

第3或第4学期在导师指导下完成硕士论文的选题，并通过选题评审委员会的答辩。中期考核与开题答辩同时进行，重点考察硕士生已经完成的科研工作情况。

8、论文答辩

研究生在答辩前2个月，申请者须将本人学位论文交院研究生办核查，学位论文必须通过“学位论文学术不端行为检测系统（TMLC2）”检测，并达到校学位评定委员会对学位论文的有关要求方可答辩；

具体检查结果与要求另见《艺术与设计学院研究生论文检查结果管理方法》。

The postgraduate education mainly follows the cultivated mode of tutoring system, or supervisor group.Training methods should be flexible and diverse, teachers should take more heuristic and research style of teaching.

1.Full time courses mainly complete in the college. Thesis defense must be completed in the college.

2. The postgraduate education mainly follows the cultivated mode of tutoring system, or a mentor based group.

3.The cultivation of graduate students mainly adopt the course of learning, combined with face to face, self-study and discussion. The intent of this method is enable students master the professional basic theory and professional knowledge.

4.Personal training plan

Complete the personal training plan under the guidance of the tutor within 2 weeks of admission.Contents include: curriculum elective program, research direction, time arrangement, and literature Reading plan, etc..

5.Learning course

Graduate students need to report their study and research work to their tutor at least once in a month and twice in a month at the dissertation stage.

6.Literature reading

Graduate students should read at least 40 professional books and documents, including 15 foreign literature and write the book notes at the same time.

7.Topic Selection Report and Mid-term Examination

Students need to complete a master's thesis under the guidance of tutors in the third or fourth term and successfully defended their capstone presentation. Topic Selection Report and Mid-term Examination are in progress at the same time. The tutors will focus on the completed work.

8.Thesis defense

Applicants are required to submitted the thesis to the Postgraduate Office of two months before defense, and pass the “Academic misconduct detection system (TMLC2)”and some relevant requirements of thesis.

You will find the specific inspection results and requirements in the management method of the results of the graduate students thesis in the Institute of Art and Design.

八、其他

VIII Others

1. 为检查教学效果，确保培养质量，凡是培养方案规定的学习项目，均必须对研究所进行考核。考核方式、成绩评定的办法须在课程教学大纲内明确。

2. 学术学位硕士研究生开题前需修满学位课程的学分，允许研究生开题后根据论文研究需要选修部分其他课程，申请答辩前修完全部课程即可。

3. 硕士研究生在学期间文献阅读量做出具体的规定与要求。硕士研究生应查阅本学科国内外文献40篇以上，其中外文文献不少于三分之一。

4. 在课程学习阶段每月至少1次、论文工作阶段至少每月2次向指导教师汇报自己的学习和研究工作情况，形成制度并在培养方案中予以明确。

5. 本次制订培养方案从2016级全日制学术学位硕士研究生开始执行。

1. To examine the effects of instruction, ensure the quality, the items listed in the program must have an assessment. Assessment methods and performance assessment methods need to be clearly stated in the course syllabus.

2. Academic graduates are required to get the credits before thesis proposal. Students are allowed to take some of the other elective courses according to the dissertation after thesis proposal. All the courses shall be completed before the application of dissertation defense.

3. Each discipline shall make specific regulations and requirements in the amount of literature to be read for the students during the study period. Graduates should review more than 40 pieces of literature at home and abroad, in which foreign literature shall be no less than one third.

4. Academic graduates shall report their own learning and research work to the supervisor at least once a month at the course learning stage, and at least twice a month during the paper sessions, which shall be institutionalized and clearly clarified in the programs.

高水平论文：以第一作者或第二作者（导师为第一）在本学科国内外学术刊物或国内外学术会议上发表论文或作品1篇（幅）；

专业实习与创作实践：完成专业创作作品不少于2-3件（含习作、设计、创作）；

2.学生在导师指导下完成导师制定的科研课题，在其中承担一定工作量，提交相关的科研报告或科研成果；模拟完成一篇省（市）级及以上自然(社会)科学基金等纵向项目的的申请书及20分钟汇报PPT，经指导教师检查、评阅合格。完成以上选项之一记2学分。

①Practice Link（3 credits）

1.Students to complete such as professional practice,creative practice,innovation and entrepreneurial activity, competition, high level papers, award winning, obtain a patent under the guidance of the supervisor;Complete the above options  count as 1 credit.

High level papers: by the first author or the second author (supervisor first) published papers or works in the subject of academic journals or academic conference at domestic and abroad (1 article)

Professional practice and creative practice: completes the specialized creation work not less than 2-3 pieces (including practice, design, creation)

2.Students under the guidance of a supervisor to complete the research topic, take a certain amount of work, submit related research reports and achievements in research; to complete a simulation of application and 20 minutes report ppt with province (city) level and above natural (social) science foundation etc. longitudinal project, by the check of guidance supervisor and qualified reviewers. Complete one of the above options count 2 credits.

六、科研与论文

VI Scientific Research and Dissertation

1.开题后8个月，可进行答辩；学位论文答辩前，必须举办毕业设计作品展。

2.学位论文是对本专业领域相关问题思考、探究和理论阐释，与本专业研究方向一致，具有一定的创新性和研究深度，体现作者对学科基础知识和学科专业前沿的掌握，及在艺术创作实践中的思考和新意，研究成果能具有学术参考价值。选题方向包括但不限于：

a.前沿性专业理论的应用与研究；

b.新理论、新的创作思维、新技法、新材料的应用与研究；

c.基础性美术学理论和实践应用研究；

d.美术创作实践的相关理论研究；

3.论文核心部分（本论、结论）字数3万字左右。

4.学生开题六个月后进行学位论文的中期检查；答辩前1个月，须将本人学位论文与有关作品上交院研究生办核查。

5.在硕士学位论文送审前，需在C类（艺术与设计学院期刊目录）及以上学术期刊上发表与学位论文研究内容相关的高水平学术论文1篇见刊（论文作者署名要求为研究生本人署名第一，或者导师署名第一、本人署名第二；论文的第一署名单位必须是武汉理工大学）或授权发明或实用新型专利1项（专利发明人是指研究生本人署名第一，或者导师署名第一，本人署名第二，专利权人必须是武汉理工大学）。

1.8 months after dissertation topic-selecting ,can take dissertation defended; Before dissertation dissertation defense,the graduation project exhibition must be held.   

2.     3.Core part of the dissertation (theory, conclusion) 3 million words.

4.Six months later after dissertation topic-selecting conduct the mid-term examination, one month before the defense. need to submit your dissertation and related work to graduate student office of your school.

 5.In front of the master's degree dissertation submitted, need to published 1 high level academic papers with C-category (school of art and design journals directory) or above academic journals related to the research content (The author request for the student signed the first;or the supervisor signed the first and student signed second; the first signed organization of the paper must be Wuhan University of Technology) or authorized invention or utility model patent 1 item (patent inventor refers to graduate students,student first signed;or supervisor first signed, student signed the second, the patent right must signed the Wuhan University of Technology).

     6.To encourage students to participate in the creation of excellent works of high level exhibition or award. Graduate student work achievement won the third prize or above provincial and ministerial level;more than 1 scientific research awards (the top 5 national awards, provincial first-prize in top 3, provincial second-prize in top 2, provincial third-prize in top 1, Signature with Wuhan University of Technology), can be regarded as 1 academic papers published in the international academic journals indexed by EI was included; Where is "Xinhua Digest" full text reprinted in the academic journal papers (3000 words or more), are considered for A-category journals; who was A& HCI, CPCI included academic papers, or of Renmin University of China Press copies reprinted for academic papers (3000 words above), are regarded as class B-category.

开题后8个月，可进行答辩；学位论文答辩前，必须举办毕业设计作品展。
